Privacy Policy

Pursuant to Law No. 78-17 of January 6, 1978, on Information Technology, Data Files, and Civil Liberties, customers have the right to access, view, modify, correct, and delete the data they have provided to Neptune Internet Services.
Neptune Internet Services uses cookies, web beacons, and other internet technologies on its website.
This document explains what cookies and web beacons are, why we use them, and how you can manage their use.
By using this website, you consent to the use of cookies, web beacons, and other similar technologies in accordance with this Neptune Internet Services Privacy Policy. In particular, you consent to the use of essential, analytical, and/or personalization cookies, as well as functionality cookies, as described below.
The first time you visit our Services, you will see a banner explaining that we use cookies as part of the Services and that continued use of these Services is considered consent to the use of cookies as described in our cookie policy. An additional feature appears in the lower-left corner of your web page, informing you about the use of cookies and allowing you to easily and more precisely manage cookie settings. Simply click on the red icon and follow the prompts.
Certain cookies are necessary for the website to function (shopping cart, customer account, etc.) and cannot be disabled.
Neptune Internet Services participates in and complies with all the Specifications and Policies of the IAB Europe Transparency & Consent Framework. It uses Consent Management Platform No. 92.

What are cookies?

Cookies are text files automatically downloaded to your computer when you browse a website. Cookies send data back to the originating site with each subsequent visit or share data with another website that recognizes that cookie.
Cookies serve several purposes, such as storing data for future visits to the site. For example, on our site, this allows us to keep your session open and save the items in your shopping cart.
They can also help ensure that the ads you see online are more relevant to you and your interests.
Cookies generally do not identify you as an individual, but simply the device you are using.
If you would like to learn more about cookies and how to manage them, we recommend visiting the following website: http://www.allaboutcookies.org/en/

We use three different types of cookies:

Essential cookies:

These cookies are necessary for our Services to function (e.g., to allow you to log in to secure areas of our website or to use the shopping cart). These cookies are necessary for the Services to function properly. Without these cookies, the services you have requested cannot be provided. We do not need to obtain your consent to use them because the Services cannot function without them.

Functionality cookies:

These cookies allow our Services to remember the choices you make, for example: remembering your username, preferences, and settings; remembering whether you have completed a questionnaire or participated in a survey or contest, or otherwise responded to something through the Services, so that you are not asked to do so again; remembering whether you have used one of our Services before; limiting how often a particular ad is shown to you; remembering your location; and enabling social media features such as Facebook or Twitter.
These cookies are designed to provide a more personalized experience so you don’t have to reset your preferences every time you use our Services. We also use functionality cookies to give you access to enhanced services, such as watching a video through the Services. As described below, you can disable any of these functionality cookies; however, if you do so, certain features of our Services may no longer be available to you or may not function as you wish.

Analytics and/or personalization cookies:

These cookies collect information about how visitors use and interact with our Services. This allows us to know which pages are viewed, how often, etc.
These cookies also allow us to personalize content and remember your preferences. These cookies help improve the way our websites function and provide an enhanced, personalized experience for users.
Some of the cookies we frequently use are listed in our cookie chart. This list is not exhaustive but is intended to illustrate the main functions of certain types of cookies set by Neptune Internet Services and third parties on our websites. Third parties may also set certain cookies on your device when you use our Services. In some cases, the third party has been engaged to provide certain services on behalf of Neptune Internet Services (e.g., website analytics). In other cases, our websites include third-party content or advertisements (e.g., videos, news content, or ads provided by other ad networks). When your browser connects to these third parties’ web servers to retrieve content, those third parties may set and use their own cookies on your device.

Cookie Lifespan

Some cookies are automatically deleted when you close your browser or when your session ends.

Other cookies are persistent; they will remain on your computer for a longer period of time or until you delete them.

Third-party cookies, such as those used for our social media platforms—Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or YouTube, for example. These services, which are external to our websites, may place cookies on your device themselves. For instance, if a user clicks the “Like” button and logs into Facebook through our website, Facebook will place a cookie on that user’s computer. This is the same process that occurs when a user logs in directly to Facebook or clicks “Like” on any other website.

We also use Google Analytics as part of our Services to help us analyze how our Services are used. Google Analytics uses performance cookies to track visitor interactions.

Thanks to cookies, Google can tell us which pages users visit, which ones are the most popular, at what time they are visited, whether a visitor has visited our websites before, which websites referred the visitor to our website, and other similar information.

All of this information is anonymized.

We have no control over third-party cookies already present in your browser, so we suggest that you review the respective privacy policies of these external services to help you understand what data about you is held by these organizations and how they use it on their respective sites:

Web Tags

We also use electronic images known as web beacons, or “tracking pixels.” These web beacons are used to embed cookies in our Services, count clicks, users, and visitors, and provide co-branded services or content. We may include web beacons in our promotional email messages or newsletters to determine whether the messages have been opened and whether any actions have been taken in response to them.
Neptune Internet Services’ services may also contain web beacons from third parties to help us compile aggregated statistics regarding the effectiveness of our promotional campaigns or other website operations. These web beacons may allow third parties to set or read cookies on your device.

How to check which cookies are stored

You can choose which analytics, personalization, and/or functionality cookies are installed on your devices. Essential cookies, however, cannot be disabled. If you do not allow certain cookies to be installed, you may not be able to access the website, or certain features, functions, or services of the website may not be available.

Disabling most targeted or behavioral advertising cookies

If you wish to disable advertising cookies that track your browsing habits and attempt to display relevant ads when you use our Services, we recommend that you visit this site: https://www.youronlinechoices.com/fr/.

If you choose to disable cookies, you will still see ads on the Internet, but they will not be personalized based on your interests. This does not mean that no ads will appear when you are online. While many companies involved in advertising cookies and serving behavioral ads online are listed at the address above, not all of them are included. Therefore, even if you choose to disable the cookies used by all the companies on the list, you may still receive advertising cookies and personalized ads from other companies.

Browser-Based Cookie Management

You can disable and/or delete all types of cookies in your browser settings.
